Featuring ex-members of Bigwig (Fearless Records) and Stalemate (Stillborn Records), the band came together as a project between old friends. The purpose was to honor the music they collectively loved in an original way, and bring back some of the fun and excitement of hardcore/punk shows of the past. The sound of Label the Traitor is set forth from a foundation based on an equation of years of hardcore roots. The equation goes something like this: Strike Anywhere/Rise Against X Sick of it All/Give up the Ghost = Label the Traitor.
