black tusk confirm roadburn festival appearance and european tour supporting red fang
Savannah, Georgia's BLACK TUSK have confirmed an appearance at this year's Roadburn Festival on Thursday April 12th in Tilburg, Holland. Coinciding with this special appearance, BLACK TUSK will be providing direct support to label mates RED FANG. The tour will kick off April 5th in Segrate, Italy and wraps up on May 5th in Essen, Germany. A complete list of dates can be found below.

Adding to a maniacal live takeover that includes a short South American run with Aborted, the Grind Over Europe Tour with Rotten Sound and Magrudergrind, a U.K. journey with Anaal Nathrakh and a handful of stateside headlining dates, California goregrind ministers EXHUMED are pleased to announce a near month-long bout of U.S. dates with death metal icons/headliners Cannibal Corpse! Joined by labelmates Abysmal Dawn and Arkaik, the live rituals will commence on April 5 in Jacksonville, Florida and include an appearance at the The Cincinnati Metal Fest on April 14 as well as a special show on April 28 where the brutal caravan will merge with the Decibel Magazine tour featuring Behemoth, Watain, The Devil’s Blood and In Solitude.

death: live track from ‘vivus!’ collection posted
Bravewords.com has posted a live version of the classic DEATH track “Pull The Plug” online now at this location. The song appears on the upcoming deluxe live 2CD collection entitled Vivus! Compiling two separate DEATH concerts, each recorded in 1998, Disc One features the band at the height of their prowess tearing the roof off of the infamous Whisky A Go-Go in Los Angeles while Disc Two is a brilliant recording of the band on the festival stage at Dynamo Open Air. horseback: complete new album
Chapel Hill, NC’s HORSEBACK has completed the recording on their new full-length and highly anticipated follow-up to 2009’s The Invisible Mountain. The album, titled Half Blood was described by mainman Jenks Miller as “the band’s most ambitious record to date that represents a synthesis of the approaches we've explored in the past”. Truly a natural progression in their increasingly prolific catalog, Half Blood was self-recorded and produced by Jenks Miller at The Chateau in the band’s hometown. Additional tracking was done at Arbor Ridge Studios and Track and Field Recording by Nick Petersen.
