brutal truth: announce european tour dates + festival appearances, split with bastard noise coming soon via relapse records
The godfathers of grindcore, Brutal Truth, have announced a run of summer and fall European festival appearances and tour dates. Kicking off July 24th at Metal Camp in Slovenia, the grind veterans will perform a string of 10 dates before heading back in September for another run. windhand complete new album, map out summer tour, hear their spilit w/ cough
In 2012, backwoods psychedelic doom band Windhand released their self-titled LP & it was met with critical acclaim.The band is putting the finishing touches on their second LP for Relapse, due out this fall, which was recorded & mixed by the band's own Garrett Morris at The Darkroom & mastered by James Plotkin, in their hometown of Richmond, VA. coffins: first carnage from relapse debut issued via "the vacant pale vessel" lyric video
The first whiff of The Fleshland, the fourth LP from Tokyo-based graverobbers, COFFINS, is permeating the air today, as the label has exhumed the first single from the album. Constructed for the massive more than six-and-a-half minute "The Vacant Pale Vessel," the lyric video animates the gorestrewn cover illustration of The Fleshland as executed by the gruesome hands of Chris Moyen (Morbosidad, Black Witchery, Incantation, Blasphemy, etc.), as he has so morbidly done with all of COFFINS previous albums as well. unkind: reveal new album details, pelon juuret coming july 9th via relapse records
Finnish hardcore heroes UNKIND have revealed the album details for their upcoming sixth full-length entitled Pelon Juuret (Translation: Roots of Fear). The album was recorded with producer Kari Nieminen at Noisecamp studios in Turku, Finland at the end of 2012. Pelon Juuret continues in the direction of the group’s previous work, offering up a furious fusion of d-beat hardcore crossed with a highly creative touch of atmospherics —as if Mogwai made a record of Tragedy covers or From Ashes Rise were influenced by Explosions In The Sky.
