Locrian: Premiere Video for “Augury in an Evaporating Tower”
Drone masters LOCRIAN have unveiled a video for the song “Augury in an Evaporating Tower” off of their debut Relapse release The Clearing / The Final Epoch. Visual artist Aleks Slota directed the video, a 7-minute spectacle that expands upon the band’s largely dark and experimental sound, which can be seen here.
The Clearing / The Final Epoch was recently released as a 2CD/Digital deluxe album with a bonus disc containing almost an hour of previously unreleased material. The entire album can be found streaming at this location. The deluxe reissue, housed in a gorgeous mini “tip-on” gatefold package is available for purchase now via Relapse and digitally via iTunes.
LOCRIAN, located in Chicago, IL and Baltimore, MD, has released over 20 recordings on an eclectic array of labels in their relatively short but prolific career, including a recent split with label-mates HORSEBACK. Additionally, the group plan to enter the studio later this year for their full-length Relapse debut.
LOCRIAN is available for interviews upon request. To speak with the band, simply contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Updated LOCRIAN news / album information will be made available at the Relapse Records website and the LOCRIAN Facebook page.
