Chapel Hill, NC’s HORSEBACK are currently streaming their brand new full-length, Half Blood via Spin Magazine at this location. The highly anticipated record sees its North American release today on CD/LP/Digital and May 14th in the UK, May 18th in Germany / Benelux and May 21st in the rest of the world. The new record was recorded by Jenks at The Chateau and is a true synthesis of the eclectic sounds the band has explored in the past. The material on Half Blood is an amalgamation of drone, doom, black-metal, psychedelia, post-rock, noise, and ambience recorded with a wide array of instruments including guitar, bass, drums, keys, piano, bells, contact mics, field recordings, drum programming, noise and various signal processors.
