The album, which was produced by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Fu Manchu, Monster Magnet) at Sunset Lodge in Los Angeles during the fall, is due out this Spring with an exact date to be announced soon. North Carolina psychedelic stoner punks ASG have completed recording their highly anticipated Relapse Records debut and first album in four years. The band’s 4th full-length was recorded with renowned producer Matt Hyde (Slayer, Fu Manchu, Monster Magnet) at the Sunset Lodge in Hollywood, CA and is planned for a Spring 2013 release.

Additionally, the band has announced a short run of tour dates alongside label-mates ROYAL THUNDER and crossover kings CORROSION OF CONFORMITY. North Carolina’s kings of gnarl, ASG have announced a 10 day run of European tour dates including an appearance at this year’s Hellfest. The tour kicks off on June 16th in Clisson, France and runs through June 30th in Stuttgart, Germany. A full listing of dates is listed below including a special show in Germany with KYUSS Lives. Frontman Jason Shi commented on the upcoming tour:

In late 2011, Relapse Records announced the signing of North Carolina’s finest psychedelic, stoner-punks ASG! Impossible to pigeonhole, ASG has been wheelin’ and dealin’ in kick-ass rock n’ roll since forming in 2001.
