Finnish hardcore heroes UNKIND have revealed the album details for their upcoming sixth full-length entitled Pelon Juuret (Translation: Roots of Fear). The album was recorded with producer Kari Nieminen at Noisecamp studios in Turku, Finland at the end of 2012. Pelon Juuret continues in the direction of the group’s previous work, offering up a furious fusion of d-beat hardcore crossed with a highly creative touch of atmospherics —as if Mogwai made a record of Tragedy covers or From Ashes Rise were influenced by Explosions In The Sky. Finnish hardcore heroes UNKIND have entered the studio to record their sixth full-length and follow-up to 2011's Harhakuvat.  The group is recording eight new songs with producer Kari Nieminen at Noisecamp studios in Turku, Finland .  The as-of-yet-titled album will see a release via Relapse Records in the Spring of 2013 and will contain a more rock-oriented influence while still maintaining the band's signature sound.

            Finnish hardcore heroes UNKIND have just announced a slot opening for thrash legends VOIVOD during their upcoming European tour this Fall. The tour begins October 8th in Brussels, Belgium and wraps up October 20th in Milan, Italy. A complete listing of dates can be found below.  The band commented on the upcoming run:  

       "We're all excited for this tour as we have been listening to Voivod since the eighties and still consider them to be on of the most important metal bands of their era.
