Having just wrapped up their highly successful North American run with Mastodon, RED FANG has confirmed that they will be heading to Europe this Winter with Mastodon. Murder The Mountains will see its North American release on April 12th (April 18th internationally) and is available for pre-order at this location along with a preview of the album artwork. Murder The Mountains, the follow-up to the band’s critically-acclaimed self-titled full-length, was recorded with producer Chris Funk (THE DECEMBERISTS) and mixed by Vance Powell (THE RACONTEURS).

RED FANG (Brian Giles – guitar, vocals, Aaron Beam – bass, vocals, David Sullivan – guitar, vocals, John Sherman – drums) formed in 2005 and have released a critically-acclaimed self-titled debut full-length in 2009. The band has recently completed recording for their Relapse debut with producer Chris Funk (THE DECEMBERISTS). The yet-untitled-album was mixed by Vance Powell (THE RACONTEURS) and will see an early 2011 international release date. Additional album details will be announced shortly.
