GADGET: Announce Tour Dates with Lock Up

Swedish grindcore powerhouse GADGET has announced a handful of Scandinavian tour dates with fellow grinders Lock Up in early January. A listing of confirmed tour dates and cities can be found below.


GADGET is touring in preparation for their upcoming third full-length record, set to be recorded in 2012. The as-of-yet-titled album will be the band’s first new record in six years and their first new material since 2010’s split release with Phobia. More details on the recording will be announced shortly.

GADGET Announces Tour Dates

GADGET has announced a handful of summer tour dates around their appearance at the 2010 Fluff Fest in the Czech Republic on July 24th. This is GADGET’s first run of dates out in over three years and they will be premiering a host of new material during the shows. A listing of confirmed tour dates and cities can be found in the tour section with more to be announced soon.

GADGET is touring in support of their upcoming split release with PHOBIA. The split will be released in the coming weeks on vinyl (via Power It Up), CD (via Haunted Hotel Records), and digitally (via Relapse Records). Additional information on the release can be found here. GADGET Announces Festival Dates

GADGET has announced two U.S. shows for next week. The Swedish grindcore group will be performing in Philadelphia, PA on Friday, May 15th with local acts JAVELINA and TOTAL FU*KING DESTRUCTION. The following day, GADGET will perform as part of the Auditory Assault Festival in Brooklyn, NY alongside BRUTAL TRUTH, DEAD INFECTION, ROTTEN SOUND, MISERY INDEX, LETHAL AGGRESSION and many more. GADGET will also be taking part in the Neurotic Deathfest and Death Fest Open Air festivals this spring. A listing of confirmed GADGET tour dates can be found in the tour section.

GADGET Announce European Tour Dates

Sweden's GADGET will undertake an extensive tour of Europe starting in March.

This run of dates will begin on March 20 in Potsdam, Germany and make its way through six countries in just under two weeks. On various dates throughout the tour, GADGET will meet up with label mates LENG TCH'E as well as THE ACACIA STRAIN, ALL THAT REMAINS, MISERY SIGNALS and more. GADGET Announce European Tour Dates

Sweden's GADGET have announced a week's worth of tour dates through Central Europe.

This string of dates will begin on Saturday September 9th in the Czech Republic with a performance at the Play Fast or Don't Fest. From there, the grindcore troupe will make stops in Slovakia, Holland, Germany and more with Czech natives UPRISE. The tour will conclude with two more festival appearances at the NRW Death Fest in Germany and the Fest of Mad in the Czech Republic. GADGET added to Augustibuller Festival 2006

Sweden's GADGET have been added to the esteemed Augustibuller Festival 2006. Augustibuller 2006 will be held on August 4th and 5th in Lindesberg, Sweden and include appearances by MOB 47, ENTOMBED, SICK OF IT ALL, CULT OF LUNA, GBH and many more.

The bands forthcoming appearance at Augustibuller follows their recent appearances as part of Hellfest Open Air (France), Fuck the Commerce (Germany), and the Close Up Festival (Sweden) in support of their new album The Funeral March.

GADGET confirmed for Hellfest, F.T.C. festivals

Sweden's GADGET have been confirmed for the first Hellfest Open Air, set to take place June 23-25 in Clisson, France. GADGET will appear on the Hard N Heavy-sponsored stage on Saturday, June 24. For full lineup and running order, access www.Hellfest.Fr.

GADGET COMPLETE WORK ON NEW ALBUM

Sweden's GADGET have completed recording their new album, The Funeral March.

GADGET (vocalist Emil Englund, guitarist Rikard Olsson, bassist Frederik Nygren and drummer William Blackmon) proudly carry the grindcore torch forward with The Funeral March. More than a devout collection of blasting beats, sweltering guitars and real-world lyrics, The Funeral March incorporates sinister melodies and a keen sense of dynamics to an already explosive mix.
