DYING FETUS will be heading to Europe this summer for a headlining tour in support of their forthcoming release Reign Supreme. The tour kicks off June 16th in Copenhagen, Denmark with an appearance at the "Copenhell Festival". After a quick return back to the states to finish up the "18 Nights of Blood Tour" with Six Feet Under and label mates REVOCATION, DYING FETUS will return to Europe on June 29th to perform at the "With Full Force" festival in Roitzschjora, Germany. The band will remain on tour in Europe for a string of headlining dates in Spain and festival appearances, capping off the tour in Gävle, Sweden at the "Getaway Rock Fest" on July 6th.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond their control, DYING FETUS have been forced to cancel their upcoming Central American tour. The band released a statement regarding the cancellation:

"We are sorry about the canceled shows. There were logistical issues that are out of our control. Hopefully DYING FETUS can make it to Central America soon."

DYING FETUS will kick off their South American headlining tour tomorrow in Buenos Aires, Argentina at Asbury Bar. The tour runs through January 18th where it will wrap up in Armenia, Columbia at Boston Avenue Bar.

DYING FETUS are currently working on their new album, entitled "Reign Supreme" which is set to be released in mid 2012 through Relapse Records. The album will feature nine tracks and is a "return to roots" with production focused slightly more on slam than in the band's last few works. Thematically, the album is set to be a good old-fashioned piece of social and political commentary in the style of DYING FETUS as we have come to know.

DYING FETUS will be touring North America this Spring as part of the Metal Alliance Tour with Devildriver, The Faceless, Job For A Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood, Impending Doom and Wretched. DYING FETUS have confirmed that they will be a part of Metal Alliance Tour in 2012. The band will be heading out across North America with Devildriver, The Faceless, Job For A Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood, Impending Doom and Wretched. John Gallagher, guitarist and vocalist of DYING FETUS, has announced that the group has entered the studio to record their new full length album. The band will once again be working with longtime producer Steve Wright (Slipknot, Misery Index) at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore, MD.

Set to be released in mid 2012 through Relapse Records, the album will feature nine tracks and is a "return to roots" with production focused slightly more on slam than in the band's last few works.  Thematically, the album is set to be a good old-fashioned piece of social and political commentary in the style of DYING FETUS as we have come to know.  An official release date and album title will be announced shortly.  

"The last album had some groove in it," stated John, "but [it] was basically a lot of tech; this one is a return to form of older DYING FETUS albums, so to speak- more modern production though, of course."  "Everything's tight," John adds; "...the sound is crushing, the drums are amazing".

Additionally, DYING FETUS have announced a series of special South American shows set to take place in mid-January.  The band has also been confirmed for next year's prestigious Maryland Deathfest and France's Hellfest.  DYING FETUS plan to tour extensively in support of their new album and will be announcing more dates shortly.

American death metal powerhouse DYING FETUS will release their first-ever tab book for 2009’s critically acclaimed album, ‘Descend Into Depravity’. The tab book contains the tablature for all the albums rhythm and lead guitar parts as well as bass guitar parts for each song. The book is set for a November 25th release date and also includes a digital download of ‘Descend Into Depravity’ plus isolated guitar and bass tracks to play along to.
