Announce European Tour Dates; Post New Song

DISFEAR have announced a number of upcoming tour dates in support of their recently released Live The Storm album. DISFEAR will embark on a brief tour of Denmark with fellow Swedes NINE in May in addition to a handful of festival appearances including the Minus 30 Grader, Punk Illegal, and Obscene Extreme festivals. A listing of confirmed DISFEAR tour dates can be found in the tour section with more to be announced soon.

DISFEAR has also recently posted the brand new track, Fear And Trembling? online now via the band's MySpace: MySpace.com/Disfear. Announce European Tour Dates

Sweden's DISFEAR has announced a number of European tour dates in support of their latest release, Live The Storm.

DISFEAR will begin this Fall tour with a run of dates in Germany with fellow Swedes VICTIMS. From there, DISFEAR will join up with Massachusetts' DOOMRIDERS for a two-week, 11-country trek. A listing of confirmed DISFEAR tour dates can be found in the tour section.

DISFEAR's Marcus Andersson commented on the upcoming tour; Once again we team up with our brothers in Doomriders and hit the road. But this time on our side of the Atlantic! We've been looking forward to this for quite some time now and we're stoked that it's finally happening.?

DISFEAR have completed two Eastern US tours since the release of their new album Live The Storm earlier this year. The band is set to perform at the Augustibuller Festival in Sweden later this Summer with more tour dates expected for the Fall.

Sweden's DISFEAR recently completed a run of U.S. tour dates in support of their brand new album Live The Storm. To Appear on XM Radio's 'Hostile Takeover'; On Tour Now

Sweden's DISFEAR will be entering the XM Radio station today, Thursday April 17th, at 4:00 pm EST for 'Hostile Takeover'.

'Hostile Takeover' is an hour-plus live program on XM Channel 42 Liquid Metal (Channel 841 for Direct TV subscribers), where DISFEAR will join regular 'Mercury' host Katie Brutal to talk about their brand new album Live The Storm, as well as their current U.S. tour, all while having complete control over the program's playlist.

DISFEAR kicked-off their headlining tour yesterday with a show at the Knitting Factory in New York. Joining DISFEAR on this tour on various dates are friends PARASYTIC, ATAKKE, THE DREAM IS DEAD, YAKUZA, TRAP THEM, and more. Montreal Show Sells Out, Announce More Tour Dates

Sweden's DISFEAR has recently announced that their April 25th show in Montreal, QC has sold out and a second, late show has been added. This Montreal date falls towards the end of DISFEAR's upcoming North American headlining tour in support of their recent release Live The Storm. Joining DISFEAR on this tour on various dates are friends PARASYTIC, ATAKKE, THE DREAM IS DEAD, YAKUZA, TRAP THEM, and more. Additionally, DISFEAR has announced a number of North American tour dates in support of Live The Storm. This headlining tour will begin on April 16th in New York, NY and continue through the month of April. DISFEAR has also been confirmed for the U.S. festivals, New England Metal and Hardcore Fest and Maryland Deathfest.

DISFEAR drummer Marcus Andersson (the band is rounded out by guitarist Bjorn Pettersson, bassist Henke Frykman, vocalist Tomas Lindberg, and former ENTOMBED guitarist Ulf Cederlund) says of the album: The making of Live the Storm has been a long time coming, but the long wait has not been in vain. The new album is probably the best we've ever accomplished and the production turned out exactly as awesome as you'd expect from a genius like Kurt. Working with Kurt was really easy and fun and his knowledge of extreme music really helped during the recording process.?

Set To Record New Album; Announce Live Appearances

Sweden's DISFEAR will enter the studio this summer to record their follow-up to 2003's Misanthropic Generation.

This still-untitled full-length effort will be recorded in August with CONVERGE guitarist Kurt Ballou at his God City studio in Salem, MA. Working song titles include: Deadweight? In Exodus? Failure? The Cage? and Testament?

DISFEAR guitarist Bjorn Pettersson (the band is rounded out by drummer Marcus Andersson, bassist Henke Frykman, vocalist Tomas Lindberg, and former ENTOMBED guitarist Ulf Cederlund) offers: We are still in a writing process but the album will possibly contain 9 to 10 songs. 10 songs have been demo tracked and are under development now together with Kurt. This will also be our first recording with Ulf on second guitar, even though he has toured with us previously.?

Kick off North American Tour in Philadelphia

Sweden's DISFEAR are set to kick off their North American headlining tour with a pre-tour celebration in conjunction with Relapse Records, the Philly Roller Girls and R5 Productions this Thursday May 11th at Manny Brown's (512 South Street) in Philadelphia, PA. DISFEAR will be hanging out all night long during this event that will run from 8:00 pm to 12 midnight EST and feature a raffle to help raise funds for the Relapse Records sponsored Philly Roller Girls derby team, The Heavy Metal Hookers, where attendees will have a chance to win DISFEAR and Relapse Records merchandise, concert tickets and more. This party will also celebrate the coming of The Heavy Metal Hookers debut bout this Sunday, May 14th at Millennieum Skateworld in Camden, NJ.

The following night, DISFEAR will be performing the first show of this tour in Philadelphia at the First Unitarian Church (22nd and Chestnut) with label-mates RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER and others. From there, the crust-rock destroyers will be hitting major cities in the North, East, Mid-West and Canada with fellow label mates MISERY INDEX along with Strong Intention and more during the course of the tour. This is DISFEAR's second North American visit since the release of their Relapse debut, Misanthropic Generation. Upon returning home from this tour, they will finish up work on the follow-up album to Misanthropic Generation that is expected to see a late 2006 / early 2007 release via Relapse.
